Planned Giving

Planned Giving Legacy Program

Approved by the Club's Board of Directors in February, this new program enables Club members to make planned gifts that can provide a lasting legacy while optimizing benefits for their designated heirs with potentially favorable tax treatment.

By adding a bequest to the Economic Club of New York, you will make a lasting impact, helping us continue our non-partisan mission of promoting the study and discussion of social, economic and political questions.  Your gift will help enable us to continue to provide engaging programs that enlighten our membership and their guests and foster economic development and collaboration around the world for generations to come. The Club's 110-year history has been a success largely due to the support of our membership.

Planned giving can be as straightforward as adding a sentence to your will or trust or updating the beneficiary form for your retirement plan.

The Economic Club of New York is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

Support the Club with a Charitable Bequest

Charitable bequests can be made in several ways. A few of the most common are:

Gift of specific amount or of specific asset
Gift of the remainder of your estate
Gift of a percentage of your estate

Other Planned Giving Options

You may name the Economic Club of New York as a beneficiary of your individual retirement account or other retirement plan or life insurance policy.

Charitable Remainder or Lead Trusts are another option that can permit you and/or another individual to retain an interest in the trust property and also benefit The Economic Club of New York.

All planned giving should include the advice of your legal and financial advisors.
