FELLOWS

FELLOWS

The Economic Club of New York is dedicated to fostering the future of executive talent and future members. In this spirit, we have launched our Fellows Program. This year-long program recruits potential future members of the Club who have shown leadership and commitment to the Club’s ideals and provides programming to foster the growth of these outstanding individuals. Fellows are typically at the VP level and are encouraged to continue their professional development and leadership work with the support of our members.

The Fellows are hosted quarterly at intimate gatherings to discuss and share insights on economics, finance, and other timely business topics. Fellows are able to network and enjoy attendance at several Club signature events. Fellows also are given the opportunity to ask the first question(s) to the Guest Speaker at the Club’s Breakfast Series, participate in the Fall debate before a member audience, and are recognized by the entire membership at the Club’s annual closing dinner. Upon program completion, Fellows will possess many new insights and a broader network to expand their leadership impact.

Typically ECNY Fellows are:
  • - Rising executives in leadership roles, (e.g. assistant controller) successful track record, approximately seven years in career
  • - VP level and above
  • - Demonstrate upward mobility
  • - Interest in a broad range of business sectors
  • - Reside and/or work in New York metro area
  • - Significant educational background
  • - Women and diverse candidates are encouraged
Please note there is no guarantee of admission to membership in the Club upon completion of the Fellows program. Fellows may apply with the support of Club member sponsor(s) to the Membership Committee for Associate membership (New ECNY Member Class effective Spring 2018) or full Club Membership depending on their seniority and accomplishments to date. There is a $1,000 administrative fee per Fellow. For more information, please email info@econclubny.org.
