Randall L Stephenson was nominated to his current position in 2007. Since then, AT&T has invested to become a global leader in the rapid converging technology, media and telecommunications space, providing integrated solutions that range from premium video entertainment, high-speed Internet and mobility to IP network services, security and the Internet of Things.

Today, AT&T is one of the larges pay TV providers in the world. It covers 400 million people in North America with 4G LTE network and provides high-speed Internet connections to 60 million U.S. customer locations, ultra-fast fiber connections to 5.5 million U.S. locations and global IP network services to 3 million businesses on 6 continents.

Randall began his career with Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1982. He served as senior vice president and chief financial officer from 2001 to 2004 and as chief operating officer from 2004 to 2007. He was appointed to AT&T's board of directors in 2005.

He is member of the board of directors of Emerson Electric Co. and Boeing, a member of PGA TOUR Policy Board and National President of the Boy Scouts of America. Randall received B.S. in accounting from University of Central Oklahoma and his Master of Accounting from University of Oklahoma.
